Barriers installed on NCN 76 to prevent access by motorbikes, but is likely to also prevent access by tandems, tricycles and people who are unable to manhandle their bike easily.

Gateway on the West Highland Way in Mugdock Country Park. The gap in the middle is so narrow, everyone has to go around the side!

There are lots of these gates on the Milngavie to Drymen section of the West Highland Way

Gates at road crossing in Croftamie. The other ends of the paths are open, and the surface on the cyclepath is a bit rough, roads somewhat smoother.
